Resum

This project has been designed for Grade 4 and 5 of Primary Education and carried out at Vila Olímpica School. It integrates English and Science contents according to the Inquiry Based Science methodology. Its main goal is to involve students into the research of the features that characterise sound and noise, thus identifying their differences from an experimental point of view. It has also a meaningful purpose, which is to identify the most annoying noises in the classroom and, after choosing one of them, experimenting with different materials in order to minimize it.
This CLIL sequence has been created at the IBS&E work group. It is the result of a collaboration established between CESIRE and UAB during the 2014-2017 courses.
