Resum

In this element you will find different hands-on activities in which animal adaptations to temperature are simulated using cans for elephants and hippopotamus and test tubes for penguins. The first activities are teacher leaded, then the students design their own analogical models, after doing some research about the animals studied.
To interpret the results, the anatomical and ethological adaptations are related to the ways of heat transmission: conduction, convection and radiation.
