That course provides you with concise information about pain.
The training activity contains four units and after working through it you will:
• Understand the most common types of pain, their signs and symptoms and how they can be treated.
• Have learnt about the different types of pain relievers available OTC.
• Know which questions to ask and when to refer customers to the pharmacist.
• Be able to give advice to customers suffering from different types of pain.
• Be able to interpret an OTC painkiller’s Patient Information Leaflet (PIL).
To get the learning objectives you will have to do the proposed activities as directed by the teacher.
